As I landed on the cold slippery tile floor of the cliffs of Moher hotel bathroom, I first realized I was still alive. Then, I thought about the irony of being so frightened just looking over the 700-foot edge below to the crashing waves thinking if I made one wrong move, or a quick burst of air came over the rock, I might be a goner.
So the thought of dying on those big cliffs & found there by my tour buddies made me giggle a little as I released the plastic shower curtain. I had busted the rod by pulling it on my way down and realized just how worse this could have turned out if I had hit my head.
MORAL OF MY STORY . . .“Don’t be frightened by the big things in life, because the little things are probably gonna get you anyway. Ride the horse. Fly the plane. Drive the race car. Hike the mountain. Just remember to put that ugly plastic thingy that hangs in your motel room on the shower floor before stepping in!
