Make Your Splash: 12-week Career Choice & Cultural Impact Study
Yes, our jobs help pay the bills, but what if you’re unsure whether you’re in the right career or calling? How much of your job is a love/hate relationship? Were you just laid off your job?
Sadly, many go through their entire lives doing things they don’t enjoy doing. Why is that? A life of purpose and joy is often stolen by our greatest fears. If we were created to make an impact, why do most of us feel like we’re drowning in problems and fears? Why does making a living feel like fighting the current? The answer, say culture-makers Christopher and Laura Harris Smith, is simple: You need to find your river of influence.
Ever wonder what God has in mind for your dream job? Do you know your job is actually God’s way of positioning you in His chosen river(s) of influence? You are called to work and live your life in a specific sphere of society needing the power of God flowing through it. This 12-week online study will take you on a journey to discover God’s calling and occupation. Through assessments and teaching you will also uncover your spiritual personality, natural giftings, and God-given skills set. Creating a resume and budget will also be done. We will be using the book, Make Your Splash, by Laura Harris Smith and Christopher Lee Smith.

The study will begin March 22 through June 7. We will meet online every Saturday, 2pm CT USA, for 12 weeks. There will be assignments to complete between sessions. A resume and budget will also be done. Costs will include the book and a DISC personality/career match report (~$75). Sign up soon. Minimum enrollment is eight, with the maximum at twelve. The group welcomes both men and women, and couples, age 18 and over.
